Architecture reviews that end in a written document, not a slide deck. Due-diligence that survives a re-read two years later.

The large-consultancy model — the one with a logo on airport wall-ads — has a problem scaling down. Below a certain engagement size, the overhead of a full partnership team eats most of the value. Below a smaller threshold, those firms do not pick up the phone. Mid-market companies are exactly in the gap.
The gap gets filled in two ways: internal teams stretching beyond their reviewable surface area, or boutique shops whose quality varies wildly. This is the market we exist in — the technical-consulting version of what mid-market law firms look like in the legal profession.
What we do, specifically
Architecture review. We read the code. We read the RFCs. We talk to the people who wrote both. We deliver a written document — usually 15 to 40 pages — with concrete, prioritized findings. Not "considerations" and "opportunities." Findings, with severity, and with suggested remediations.
Migration strategy. If the finding is "this needs to move off X," we do not stop at the recommendation. We produce an effort estimate, a sequencing plan, and a risk register. If we can, we do the migration ourselves; if we can't, the plan should be executable by your team.
Technical due diligence. M&A and investment contexts. We are fast — two-to-three weeks from signed NDA to deliverable. We tell you honestly what you are buying, what is load-bearing in the code that the sellers did not want to admit, and what the first six months of integration will cost.
Threat modeling and compliance gap analysis. ISO 27001, SOC 2, FIPS 140-3, UN R155 where relevant. We know the standards well enough to have opinions about which clauses matter and which are performative.
What we avoid
- Open-ended engagements. Every review has a fixed deliverable and a fixed date. Extensions are a new scope, not a slippage.
- Selling the next thing. We do not have a sales team. The engineer who led your review is also the one who would propose follow-up work, and they would rather do it well than sell it.
- Deck-only deliverables. Decks are summaries. The actual artifact is a written document you can re-read in two years and still follow.
Pricing
USD 180–280 per hour, or fixed-scope from USD 12k. Roughly 40–60% below a comparable North American consultancy at the same seniority level. The delta is not a quality delta; it is a cost-of-living delta between Buenos Aires and New York.
If you have an RFC that needs a second opinion, or a vendor assessment that should not be done by the vendor's friends, send it over. Reviews typically start within two weeks of scope agreement.
