Trademarks

CratonVM is an independent, clean-room research implementation of a Java Virtual Machine. It is not sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Oracle Corporation or any other trademark holder named below.

Third-party trademarks

• Java, OpenJDK, HotSpot, and Java Flight Recorder are trademarks or registered trademarks of Oracle Corporation and/or its affiliates in the United States and other countries.
• References to "Java", the Java SE platform, JDK versions, the Java Class Library, and bytecode/class-file formats in this project are nominative: they describe the specification CratonVM aims to be compatible with. CratonVM is not a certified or licensed implementation of the Java SE platform and does not claim Java compatibility certification (see docs/legal.md and SECURITY.md).
• All other product names, logos, and brands referenced in this repository (e.g. WildFly, Kafka, Tomcat, Keycloak, BouncyCastle, Hibernate, H2, Elasticsearch, NVIDIA, CUDA) are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and interoperability-testing purposes only.

Use of these names does not imply any endorsement.

The "CratonVM" name

"CratonVM" and "Craton" are used by Craton Software Company to identify this project and its associated software. The project's source code is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (see LICENSE and NOTICE); that license grant covers the copyrighted code and does not grant rights to use the "CratonVM"/"Craton" names or logos except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the origin of the work (per Apache-2.0 §6).
